Hebrews 5:
—
5 Likewise, Christ did not glorify himself to become high priest, but he who said to him, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you.”
6 As he also says in another place, “You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”
7 Who, during the days of his flesh, offered up prayers and supplications with loud cries and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverentness. 8 Although he was a son, he learned obedience by what he suffered. 9 And when he was perfected, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him, 10 called to be a high priest in the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 5, 7, 8, 9, 10
It is clear that this is about a human being, i.e. Jesus Christ, who hoped to be a high priest.
:5
That is, to say, “I call Christ my Son and High Priest.”
To whom He said, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you.”
The word “today” means that He was not a Son before this statement.
And what is written is:”He heard it out of His piety”: He did not possess divine power; yet, as a Son, He learns obedience through suffering.

—
