Mark

1 And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God!” Mark 3:11

The Son of God is not God.

Mark 6

4 Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown, among his relatives and in his home.” 5 And he could do not do any miracle there, except lay his hands on a few who were sick and healed them.  Mark 6:4-5

God is able: Jesus was not able.

Mark 8

29 Then he said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered him, “You are the Christ.” 30 But he warned them not to say to anyone that he is the Christ.

“The Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.” Mark 8:29, 30, 31, 38

His Father’s glory.

Mark 10

18 Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.”

This means that he is not God.

Mark 10:18, 34, 45

Mark 12

29 Jesus answered him, “The most important commandment is: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.’” (Mark 12)

32 The scribe said to him, “Well done, Teacher.”  You have spoken truly, for God is one, and there is no other besides Him. Mark 12:32

Mark 13

11 Whatever is given you at that time, speak this.  For it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit:

The Spirit of God in the speakers…

32 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Mark 13:11-32

If Jesus were God, He would know.

32 The scribe said to him, “Well said, Teacher; you are right in what you say, for there is one God, and there is no other besides Him.”  29 Jesus answered, “The most important commandment is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.’” (Mark 12:29-32)

Mark 13:32

32 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Mark 13:32)

If Jesus were God, he would know.

Mark 14

36 And he said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Take this cup from me; yet not what I will, but what you will.” Mark 14:6-36

Two conflicting wills, from two different beings.

Mark 14

36

36 And he said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Take this cup from me.  “Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

Two conflicting wills, from two different beings.

“And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.” Mark 14:36-61-62

No one sits at his own right hand.

Mark 15

34 At the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?”  Which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Mark 15:34

A man addressing his God

Mark 16

19 Then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat at the right hand of God. Mark 16:19

The one sitting at the right hand of God cannot be God.
